Huge amount of micromanagement. Working across function areas although is theoretically supported, micromanagement means you must go through layers of bureaucracy instead of just reaching out. Senior management is so incredibly out of touch, with constant poor strategic decisions, layoffs, uncertainty. Risk taking is not encouraged, and if anything we were warned to be conscious of those more senior when suggesting ideas. Career opportunities are so poor here, once you come in at a certain level it will take a few years to get to the next level even if you are immediately demonstrating you are performing at least at that level. Pay increases were close to nothing even when inflation is at its highest in years. Real salary effectively went down over years.

Management has no vision. There's no transparency in the company, from promotion to even the product. There is also a history of questionable treatment towards staff coming from minority backgrounds.
