Pros

They give you a great discount on quality products.

Cons

Superficial vapid employees. Upper management creates an atmosphere of tension which is direct result of the (family) owners frequent unpleasant demeanor/behavior. This company has a high turnover, because it is not an enjoyable atmosphere to work in.

Pros

looks great on a resume, awesome employee discount

Cons

give you more & more work with no increase in pay, promotion or title change - middle management has no concept of what each employee actually does, their value or their contribution - hardworking, long term employees get misused & taken advantage - undeserving, brown nosing, well-connected employees who do bare minimum get advancement only

Pros

Some very nice people and feeling of community within departments. Great brand and looks good on resume but positive seems to end there.

Cons

Very disorganized and subject to change. Have never worked anywhere where things change so quickly with no regard for the consequences. Favortism is also a big problem and people get ahead by playing the game and not because they deserve it. Ever since the new CEO started it has gotten much worse too with lots of veteran employees being let go and replaced with his people. It feels like the old employees are being gradually replaced and ignored for promotion and development. People are literally fired constantly and with no reason or warning. It's ashame because there are good people there including the Yurmans are being mislead and taken advantage of and just don't see it. Thought it was going to be a place where I could be for awhile but due to changes it does not seem likely and seems to be the sentiment of many of my co-workers as well. Salary is also awful and they get you with promise of bonus but never got it and took a pay cut to start. Also uneven compensation from what I've heard where depending on department a manager can earn the same or less than some assistants.
