Great, ok, and terrible

Pros

The CEO, Marketing VP, COO, CFO and a few other senior management staff are great. Benefits are great. Casual dress, free lunch once a ,week. Pay is acceptable for the market.

Cons

The sales leadership is terrible and don't let the charade fool you. They care absolutely nothing about you, only the quota (which they control) by giving territory to those they like. Across the company, if you don't know someone or part of the in crowd, good luck advancing. In fact, they have proven with multiple employees that they will make your job miserable until you quit, or can't meet the standards where they can fire you.. Free lunch once a week is really just a way to keep you in the office, so you'll eat while you work or eat quickly and go back to work as an fyi. They advertise it as a fun place to work with scooters and a game room, but in reality they are greatly understaffed, so no one has time for that....ever... Software team: 7/10 Implementation team is led well: 8/10 Support: no one knows what they are doing and just ask old timers how to fix anything beyond a password reset. 6/10 Marketing: 9/10 People team : 7/10 Finance: 8/10 Sales team: several great employees, and some that senior leadership gave a job from their previous stops.

Pros

Benefits are some of the best in town. Excellent health insurance, dental, vision. Solid retirement plan matching. Great PTO, and schedule for improvement as years go on. A bunch of other solid benefits. Pretax FSA you can contribute to for medical expenses. Free fruits, beverages, coffee, tea all week. Free lunch on Fridays. Constant company and team events with more free stuff, food and the idea of creating a fun experience for team members. Fun office design/layout. Casual attire (shorts, t shirt, and flip flops if you want). Two company community service days a year. Great flexibility to move to other positions within the company and learn/try new things. You can learn a ton by working here. Tech company just like out West where it is fast paced, and you always have to remain sharp. Definitely as close to Silicon Valley as you can get in Birmingham. A whole lot of opportunity to grow/learn personally and professionally. The people are top notch. They genuinely care about you with your work and your outside of work life. Highly driven, motivated team of workers. Very open crew where everybody from top to bottom wants to hear what you think. You basically get a lot of responsibility/trust/ownership right off the bat. Great openness from highest level of leadership, too.

Cons

At times people put off the vibe that everything is perfect, when of course people normally have something in their life that causes them pain. Bit of a fraternity/sorority feel at times (chummy, buddy-buddy). Lots of meetings.

Pros

-Amazingly transparent in how the company's doing strategically, financially, and operationally; as such, team members trust leadership, really feel connected to what's going on, and feel motivated to see the company succeed -Casual dress in a fun work atmosphere -Fairly flat hierarchy in most of the company's areas (not unusual to be IMing with the CEO or an SVP!) -Company strongly supports professional development by offering employees a yearly stipend (plus time off) to spend on training in any area the team member is interested in -Culture of autonomy where teams are trusted to make decisions and actually have a lot of input on the work -Lots of opportunities for lateral moves -Customers are very accessible and super-awesome people -100% paid team member health insurance and really cheap add-on for additional family members

Cons

-The main office is a bit disconnected from satellite offices/remote team members -Not a lot of upwards advancement opportunity for some positions
