Pros

States they are an equal opportunity employer.

Cons

Will fire you on leave of absence even if you have a disclosed disability, and follow procedure. This company cares about its bottom line, has rolled out consistent layoffs over the past year, and recently fired a disabled employee on LOA while they were incapacitated in the hospital. If you even remotely suspect you may need to take LOA, FMLA, STD or LTD, I would not accept an employment offer from this company.

Pros

The rest of the company, besides tech support, is a good place to work. I suggest applying directly to a different department of the business. Do NOT look at tech support as a 'foot-in-the-door' because, especially if you're not female with blue hair, they will not let you move up to a different job title. Working tech support is comparable to working a fast-food window. It's non-stop, grueling, thankless, soul-deadening, depression-causing work. Like I said, the other parts of the company are delightful. Great benefits, Great PTO and vacation. OH! I almost forgot to mention. The PTO and vacation is effective immediately, day one of employment. But there's a catch. It does not apply to the tech support department. The school teacher diversity hire supervisor will turn down any requests a tech support person makes, depending on whether she likes you or not. So if you do get hired in tech support, don't get too excited about the employee handbook that says you have these benefits. It secretly does not really apply to you.

Cons

Tech support department is ran by a couple female diversity hires who do not have a background or degree in technology. They walk around the place like they think they are queens. They are openly bias towards other female employees as if they believe it's acceptable. They have openly admitted many times that they run the department as if the employees are school children. One of the females is a former grade school teacher. They are extremely unprofessional, often talk to people with their mouth stuffed full of food. They don't have much of their own work to do so they often walk around and just socialize and bother people all day. One of them takes every Friday off, making her a part time employee but still gets paid as a full time employee.
