Pros

Depending on the manager or property owner- shifts can be great. If it’s located in a nice city- it’s great.

Cons

If it is not located in a nice city and if the upper management is terrible- don’t even bother.

Cons

Owner is sexist towards women and nepotism is on full display!! Owners relatives and relatives friends get favoritism. Attendance policies and work duties do not apply to the owners relatives and relation s friends. If you are a female you will be forced to wear womens shirts that draw attention to your breasts. Was asked what shirts i wanted ordered and i selected mens M, owner ordered womens M i then complained about it saying it felt inappropriate and i was uncomfortable wearing womens clothes and he again ordered womens L. I had been getting in trouble for not having the uniform despite the owners relatives and friends not wearing the uniforms. i felt i would get fired or lose my hours if i made it any more of an issue.. then my hours were cut.... when i brought to the managers attention that the employees who were family members or friends of the owners and provided picture evidence from several weeks worth of shifts in which the relatives were not doing any of their shift cleaning. instead of holding them accountable my hours were cut with no explanation.. My roommate also complained about the owners relatives and friends not doing their cleaning tasks and being late and he then was fired and she said it was because a guests reservation didn't have a phone number on it and when he tried to look up the logged changes on the RSVP to see if the number was deleted by another user they threatened to call the cops on him. Bottom line easy job but the owner is sexist and the place is corrupt with nepotism.. the manager has no spine and does nothing for her employees and basically has no voice or skin in the game the owner says " she is the manager in charge and makes all the decisions" and she says "the owner is in charge and she's doing what he tells her to do" despite her being the "manager" she has no power and no voice and the owner only cares about his relatives and relatives friends who can do no wrong and you can not mention them breaking the rules or not showing up on time to the manager without facing retaliation
