- The flat management they speak about is a lie and there is always constant power play. - Higher management is sarcastic and only wants YES men/women - If you are not French or an ex-pat get ready to see the glass ceiling - No clear career progression path - Only promoting female leaders because its a KPI from HQ - Salary is below average, they will lowball you at every opportunity even when it comes to your annual appraisal. - Always giving excuses on why you don't deserve an increment even if you hit your KPIs which are validated by them at the start of the year they will find an excuse to justify why you deserve less or no increment.

* Highly unorganised finance management. They say it is because Decathlon Ireland is in a start-up mode which is not an excuse considering Decathlon is a multi-million dollar company. * No specific departments. Tasks are randomly allocated and everyone does a bit of everything, which doesn't let people to gain experience in a specific field. If trying to look at the bright side of getting experience in various fields, the next point causes the problem * Worst trainings which are of no use. A lot of language gaps and knowledge gaps due to most experts being French or Asian * Too much workload for some * Too much French influence in everything mostly in various accounting aspects.
