Pros

Decent health benefits Relatively stable job

Cons

Says that they appreciate your work but if they are not on good terms with you then there will be no progression or even salary increment. New positions are often being reserved for the person they have in mind. If someone applies for the role, they would go through the motion of interviewing and stuffs out of courtesy. Promotes people base on the company values that they have as well as how well they are liked rather than the quality of their work. New hires often getting higher pays as compared to old staff just because they can bring in "new ideas" when in actual fact any ideas coming from old staff would be shut down even though it might be exactly what the new hires come up with. Empty promises being thrown everywhere by people who do not have the power to make things happen. Underpaid but expected to do much more in order to have a chance of getting a pay increment. If you do not do anything more of your job scope, the chances of getting a pay increment is little to none even though you have hit or exceed the KPI set for the year itself. High staff turnover due to lack of appreciation from higher management. Often says they appreciate us but actions shoes otherwise.

Pros

wage is standard for retail management. each sport operates under different standards, all depends on the city sport leader. gives lots of freedom to make decisions process are tech forward such as rfid for checkout, a app for stock management.

Cons

French company, upper management has little circle very racist, loves promoting their own and is very unapologetic about it. Too understaffed, locals are exploited by idealistic mantras like "we are all leaders" we need to help our SU's". communication methods are too outdated, uses whatsapp for all communication. you will get a hundred notifications a day

Pros

- you get to exercise tai-chi and other sports because its a sports company - Allows you to get creative with your hand and make your own changes to the layout, nice colleagues to teach you what's going on - young workforce and people to get along with - discount on sports apparels

Cons

- poor leaders with your coaches given too much power. Avoid the marketing team - they dont know what theyre doing and they give positions to people just because theyve been in the company for long. loyalty isnt expertise. you might as well hire a cleaner and make that guy the CEO for working 20 years at the company - pay isnt great either - avoid the manager handling the traffic in the team. doesnt know what shes doing and pretends to be nice all over
