Resaerch Fellowship Salary Per Year

Pros

They pay you on time. It was under NSF funding which is over. So there is no detail for upcoming research fellows yet.

Cons

They pay biweekly checks and do not deduct state and federal taxes. So by the end of the year, research fellow received 1099 form and must have enough savings to pay the taxes.

Dover is a pleasant place to live.

Cons

The salary was terrible and an HBCU you expect people to be especially concerned about being treated fairly but this is not the case.

The pay is pretty great for a college student. As well, I have gained great experience in working in a office and thus, receiving great office skills.

Cons

Sometimes the staff can be very snarky, lazy and expect you to even go run their errands. It can be very uncomfortable.
