      Great co-workers and many good students. Very low pay.

      Pros

      Supportive environment. Other instructors, my chair, and dean are very helpful. Good life-work balance.

      Cons

      VERY low pay for a job that requires a Masters, and in the current economy I'm struggling to make ends meet which is disheartening. Often pays less than K-12, but K-12 in New Orleans in a nightmare. As much as I love working there, I'm not sure how much longer I can hang in with the pay scale.
