I’ve never worked for a company with so much open contempt for their employees and customers. From the outside they look like a well functioning company, but inside there is so much rot, lack of accountability, relentless blame shifting and scapegoating. The people of tenure longer than 2 years are either handcuffed by a sunk cost fallacy waiting for an IPO or are genuine sociopaths. Constant, relentless layoffs make it impossible to catch your breath or focus leading to a general anxiety that feels reminiscent of red scare period; senior leaders are whisked away and disappear over night with comms about their departure heavy with latent disrespect.
