Fast Paced Environment Pushing Innovation

Pros

It's a fast growing company that is pushing new innovations in its industry. The benefits here are really good as well. Regular employee outings are hosted at places like Whirlyball, and we have company lunches, potlucks, chili/baking competitions every year that are enjoyable.

Cons

To be successful here, you have to have a bit of an entrepreneurial spirit, be willing to take on tasks without always having solid direction and willingness to help with tasks that might not be within your core day-to-day responsibilities.

Pros

I've worked at Delkor for more than 10 years and have enjoyed being part of a team that has created some incredibly innovative robotic automation and package designs. It has been a fast-paced growth curve, and the company is on a great path looking forward. In terms of career growth, It is worth noting that the company is quick to reward employees that demonstrate hard work and can-do attitudes with new opportunities, whether that is a robotics technician growing into an engineering role, or others who move on to supervisory or managerial/director level positions and beyond. With regards to the facility, the offices and cubicles are large, and the production area is clean and bright. The technology used onsite is generally new and on the high end of the spectrum as well, whether speaking of laptops/computers, mobile devices, or CNC machine tools in the fabrication center. The facility is often visited by customers, so a lot of areas in the building are used as a showroom, which means that it is kept neat and organized. The company is privately held, and the owner does not hesitate to reinvest into the business. Perhaps most important, there is a great group of people here at Delkor, and from the top down it is clear that everyone is interested in doing a great job for our customers, and in doing what we can in order to help each other out.

Cons

It is definitely a fast-paced environment, which does not suit everyone, but for those who enjoy the challenge it's a great fit.

Poorly Run Environment, Held Up By A Few Superstars

Pros

- There are a handful of very savvy folks here, who work hard and make good decisions. These specific people are really what drive and guide the business. Without them, the actual formal business processes (which are terrible), would cripple the company

Cons

- Heavy reliance on outdated technology, with no exit point in sight - Poor work-life balance - Below average benefits at high premiums
