      Pros

      Dell gives actual bonuses for good performance, not just spectacular performance. Dell is very flexible with work/life balance. Opportunities to grow are here for the taking! Pay is great considering the region. (Nashville, TN) Senior management has the skills needed to get Dell through a recession in fantastic shape.

      Cons

      Dell doesn't use emerging NEW technologies to edge the company ahead of competitors such as touch screens or multi-touch surfaces. We always seem to wait until the coast is clear, letting competitors be the innovaters.

      -Internal Career Growth Opportunities are minimal unless move to HQ -Individual Responsibility is too large/vast, no specialization -Not Strategic, still hardware mentality

      Pros

      Great people, good pay & benefits, cool products, Austin is a fun town.

      Cons

      Senior Management lost its direction and focus. Brought in to many overpaid senior executives who did not execute or improve the business. The single minded focus is gone.
