Overworked and underpaid Lack of resources A lot of responsibility put on the nurse, lots of tasks - you do more than you should have to do (transports, put in admit orders for some MD’s, Dr’s don’t update pt’s often, etc) No ratios!!! Sometimes scary

Lack of management while drowning in 1:10 patient ratios, politics based wouldn’t give OT bc it wouldn’t fit extra $ in their pockets with budget, no security presence in FOP unless for emergency, outdated nurses stations would make for unsafe working environments, medical treats psych department nurses/patients as a chore
