Pros

Nice people, lots of various positions to transfer into.

Cons

Sadly, advancement seems best if you are a "yes" man and are willing to join the good-ole boy club. Management does not generally welcome bottom up feedback or those who have ideas or suggestions.

Pros

A survivor in a difficult industry. Great travel benefit. Clout by virtue of size. Many good I.T. jobs with difficult and usually interesting applications. Good chance to learn new technologies.

Cons

Relentless downhill slide in airline industry has led to more outsourcing, erosion of benefits and even reduced pay. The larger, "legacy" carriers seem to have trouble adapting
