Pros

The oportunity to travel. It was a great place to work with a great atmosphere when the center was opened. When the previous VP left things changed for the worst. There are not many things to enjoy now about the job. Did I mention the travel? I am struggling to think of anything else.....There has been a few employees that have moved to coorperate headquarters and they advised the atmosphere there is very enjoyable and it is a great place to work. We used to have partys put on by the vendors but for some reason they quit those too.

Cons

Senior management does not have any idea of the actual workings of MLT. Everything is determined from looking at numbers and reports. The employees do not matter and are treated like they are replaceable at any minute. The pay is not competative with the main office due to the "cost of living" I'm not sure how that works when a job in Edina MN that is a lower level starts out higher then an employee who has worked in Minot for years. The whole place is micro managed and if you like to be treated like an infant this is the place for you. Most supervisors and managers are hired by the VP of the center because they are "yes people" Of course you never see the VP of the center unless the VP's from the main office are coming in. The VP before this one knew all the employees by name and knew their job and what they did. None of the managers and supervisors dare cross her or her senior sales manager pet or they are gone. The center is so top heavy it's crazy. I think 1 of the departments have about 2 employees and about 6 managers. The amount of meetings that management has is rediculous. I think they have meetings about meetings. The VP has really ran the center down. The majority of the employees are now unhappy and the main office big wigs could care a less.
