Pros

A paycheck, shelter, most of the coworkers

Cons

Incredibly unethical management. I believe the person below generously reported that upper management contradicts themselves. They don't, they straight up lie. The sociopaths who run the office proudly call themselves the 'Mean Girls', and live by the motto "Do as I say, not as I do." Upper management spends 3-6 hours per week in the office, and the rest of the time they are at home "in meetings." They've become so bold that they now openly announce that they are "leaving to go to the gym" at noon, driving the company car which is supposed to be reserved for home visits but has been commandeered as their personal vehicle, while you are left in the trenches taking grenades, which come in fast and furious because of the constant turnover. If anything isn't completed to their specifications, which change on a whim without any warning, prepare to be run out of the office. The only communication at this company is the threat of job loss. I learned of my demotion (after refusing to do something which would have threatened the health and safety of the supported individuals) through PayCom (the pay system). It is never a good sign when lasting a year at a company makes you a senior figure, but this place will undoubtedly chew you up and spit you out sooner rather than later.

Pros

Population served was the only pro

Cons

Toxic, unethical work environment. Negative unsupportive Executive level Management. Constant threats of employment, name calling by Executive Management. Inconsistent decisions based on who you were. Constant turnover makes it impossible to maintain positive outcomes or continuity of care for those supported. Obvious lack of respect for employees and very poor communication.
