Pros

You'll find through the disorganized chaos and tons of excessive poorly written documentation, quite a few dedicated nice people that enjoy working with consumers and colleagues. The few gems of professionals there are grossly under paid and under appreciated for their expertise that would help bring the company into the 21st century -or at least help turn around the increasingly negative reputation of a non profit that is supposed to help their population. If you need experience in the field take the job but know its temporary.

Cons

No career development. Company pays the lowest salaries even for a non profit so they have extremely high turn over. Poor first impression with constant bugs, smells and dirty carpets. little or no training/guidance so people work beyond their job description - the ones that actually have one. Sr. Management doesn't seem concerned until there is a major escalation that could have been easily prevented with experienced and professional management in place.
