Depressing to say the least

Pros

Good pay to start, good medical/dental, clean facility, access to health club and pool for staff (may not be anymore they were phasing this out and charging)

Cons

No raises offered in 2 years, little advancement opportunity due to high competition internally, very depressing and un-motivating atmosphere and structure. Poor initial training for new hires. High expectations with zero training, thus resulting in disappointed and frustrated staff and management.

Pros

Great team, good benefits, ok salary. I worked for over 5 years with this hotel chain. There is plenty of opportunity to grow with this company if you are willing to work hard and show your commitement.

Cons

The shifts available while I worked there were from 7-3 or 3-11, so you are a limited with a regular daytime job. I mainly worked the 7-3 shift, but it would have been nice to have another position during the day.

Pros

There are some great coworkers. Very bustling so you're rarely bored (and so the work day passes quickly). Decent pay and benefits. Cheap hotel rooms for employees, friends and family.

Cons

Hypocrisy from upper management. The inability for any department to take ownership and responsibility for actions. Improper training of new staff causing issues for clients.
