      Pros

      Deltek is a very entrepreneurial company. They are always looking for ways to grow. If you have a great idea, and you can demonstrate the business case, you can often see it through to fruition. Just be patient and persistent, as it can take a long time.

      Cons

      Deltek is very cyclical. The company has grown rapidly, and then downsized many times.

      Pros

      Great clients. Good products in the PS sector.

      Cons

      Certainly on our product and within our team within Deltek, the client was not seen as important enough, or at all. The communication I experienced was terrible (literally non-existent). Our acquisition was handled in the worst way you could imagine, with Deltek 'covertly' training outsourced 3rd parties to take over internal jobs whilst HR simultaneously were not responding on basic questions (providing contracts etc). The largest complaint I have is the line management - I spoke to my line manager a handful of times in two years. I was never asked for my thoughts or opinions, or any questions about my work / clients.

      Pros

      - The environment was flexible until the business unit silos were created - The people I worked with were very passionate - I think the salaries were fair which HR worked to align over the years

      Cons

      - The culture complete changed when the business unit silos were created, specifically the PS silo - The PS BU focused on keeping non-legacy Deltek (Maconomy) staff and became very obvious with all the dismissals
