      At the beginning Deltek was a great place to work until they were sold October 2012

      Pros

      Health Benefits, Wellness Benefits, Work Life Balance, everyone was happy and friendly, generous bonus for meeting goals. They invested a lot of money into employee retention with perks.

      Cons

      They were bought by Thoma Bravo, LLC, October 2012. Everyone was told it would be business as usual. However, once the purchase was complete, they laid off 300 employees over a 3 month period. They have become very tight with expenditures and almost all perks have been eliminated.

      Pros

      Flexible working conditions is 1 of the positives of this company. Company culture is bearable. Interation with different races/cultures is a good way to learn about the facets of the business.

      Cons

      Observed bureaucracy and red tape happening in several levels. Mismanaged distribution of work load. Management tends to overload assignment of jobs and likes to set unfair expectations. They like to set up meetings without really listening to their employees' concerns. Recognition programs are not an assurance of an employee's tenure with the company. A lot of experienced folks were let go.

      New owners brings uncertainty of long term plans, cut backs in compensation packages
