Pros

- Many nice co-workers - flexible remote work environment - they leave you alone to get your work done, which is good

Cons

Where to begin? Senior management that is incredibly inconsistent: "we're in the best financial shape ever, but your bonus will only be paid at 50% this quarter" is their watchword. Too many managers; incredibly inflated titles - VP's here might have 5-10 people working for them, sometimes only 1 or 2. Span of control is absurd. Managers are in meetings 40 hours/week, which means that they never have time to manage. Company has stealth layoff's every quarter, whether they admit to them or not. Ethically, this company lacks - they need a chief ethics officer, or something like that. They pride themselves on paying average compensation and below-average benefits.

Pros

The two dozen or so people who understand the products that haven't been fired this week. The people who truly care about the customers and products are some of the best around.

Cons

The almost daily layoffs or some people mixed with the massive 5%-10% layoffs that come every six or so weeks. Communication is nothing but lies and cover ups. (Too many past execs and directors leave for medical reasons; and nobody had a heart attack) New hires are people without product or industry knowledge. New product releases are insufficient to keep clients. Clients generally unhappy with being nickel and dimed just to get basic English speaking, product specific support. Employee survey results and town hall meetings that lead to firing of anyone vocalizing disagreement.
