Pros

I'm having a hard time thinking of a pro

Cons

Long hours with no comp time, workaholic culture (I even heard one of my coworkers bragging about averaging 55 hours/week for 2021), way too much travel, very confusing work, little guidance, no diversity (almost all employees here are old men). Going into the office is so depressing. I would recommend staying away from Dennis Group.

Pros

This company will offer challenging opportunities. You will be able to travel to job sites and see construction projects from start to finish. The Christmas party is one of the best.

Cons

This company will suck the life out of you. They will require you to travel to job sites outside of work hours with no extra compensation. You will be expected to perform the job requirements with no company-provided training, regardless of your prior experience (not great for new engineers). Expect to work long hours, plus travel on weekends.

Pros

Coworkers are amazing! If you get both bonuses, it is a huge plus.

Cons

Work hours. Could be anywhere from 10-16 hours for a normal day if you are on site. Definitely do not get compensated fairly for the excessive overtime. I was really making like 40,000 a year base salary when I took into account all the overtime I should have been paid. Ridiculous. I left to have a family. Really not sure how anyone has a good family life at this job. Oh, and the open vacation policy is a joke. You always have to do whats right for the client, not you. Worked here for 4 years and the only vacation I didn't work was my honeymoon. My last vacation here was spent on the phone with 2 presidents from 2 different companies over a dispute on shipments because my project manager couldn't be bothered to do it.
