Pros

Coke Freestyle Casual dress code

Cons

It's hard to get excited and be motivated working for a brand that cannot even keep their local restaurants running smoothly. Lots of time and money have been poured bringing in GMs and managers from out of state to help turn around the local restaurants. OPERATIONS and TRAINING are the weakest links in this organizations. Yes, it's a challenging landscape being a 24/7 restaurant, but it's also frustrating to hear that most complaints stem from abysmal service, subpar preparation of food and filthy restaurants. Reorg in IT department. Hired lots of overpaid positions. No rhyme or reason on how/why some employees get promoted and others do not.

Pros

-The people here are genuinely nice. Just good people and it starts from the top (executive team and *most* of the officers). -Although not in a desirable city, the tower is nice corporate environment. The addition of the cafe is nice and overdue. The ongoing renovations on each floor is a welcome change. -Garage parking. So your car is protected from the elements. -Vacation, holidays, volunteer time off -CEO is very involved in local community and national philanthropic causes. -Free tickets to events in town and employee discounts -Bonuses. Working hard has its perks come the beginning of the year.

Cons

-Absolutely, hands down no room for professional growth for managers and below. The ceiling is extremely low here. You will just come here to get a paycheck. Consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky if you work for someone who invests in your career development. This is very disappointing. -Extreme favoritism rampant in certain departments. HR, Marketing... -Work/life balance is not good. Employees work evenings and weekends just to keep up with the pace. -Difficult to move up and receive a promotion. Unless you play the game and play it well. -Training is non-existent. -Lack of communication; again this starts at the top. -2% cost of living raise. -Corporate recruiting is laughable. Unable to attract top, quality people for numerous open positions. -Healthcare premiums are ridiculous. But what do you expect, we're in the restaurant industry. -Company does not value loyalty or years or service.
