Pros

Although it can be challenging, I enjoy working in the behavioral health industry. Most of the people working here have a passion for what they do.

Cons

Compensation. Benefits are just marginal. Employee engagement is non-existent. Little recognition. Management is disconnected.

Pros

Coworkers and direct supervisors are supportive and understanding.

Cons

Upper leadership does not care about you or your wellbeing. This place is the definition of overworked and underpaid. Expectations are constantly changing, but you have no voice as an employee or clinician. They have zero respect for you a person and professional.
