Pros

Decent pay, that is it.

Cons

HR is difficult to get a hold of because they are chronically understaffed and they are passive agressive in emails. Coworkers without boundaries make it harder for everyone to maintain boundaries. They give you an obscene amount of work then get upset when you say you can't take care of yourself. Middle school curriculum was appropriate for college level students. Discipline matrix is not followed. So much district mandated testing that you can't actually teach. Large class sizes. Plan time taken up by behavior meetings. Work environment includes numerous safety hazards not acknowledged or adressed by administration.
