Pros

Good Pay, Solid benefits, Friendly environment and upper management truly cares about the employees. A growing company which provides opportunities to get your foot in the door with a Class 1 railroad. Great training and unheard of work/life balance for a railroad. Home every night.

Cons

No Railroad retirement. The usual workplace drama if you get sucked in. Not a job for everyone.

Pay isn't the greatest at the engineering department.

Pros

Engineering department has good people. They take care of you like family. Safety oriented department. The schedule is pretty flexible. They understand that people have things happen in life.

Cons

Gives insulting pay raises of 10 cents a year. Than also give you hopes of pay raise is coming. That doesn't happen.
