Pros

The watershed are amazing. You will go places that are privately owned by Denver Water and are not open to the public.

Cons

If you wanna work somewhere that under pays you and under values you then work here. I worked under manager that severely abused her employees for months. I finally worked up the courage to let HR know and got the heck out of there. They are more concerned with teaching you how to be a robot than actually caring how their employees are treated. They call it the “golden handcuffs” for a reason.

Pros

Good benefits…especially PTO. Working hard on salaries. Good mission. Takes problems seriously. Pension plus 401k is pretty great. Employees are strong.

Cons

Can be slow. Kinda feels sad with global warming and always worry of drought at times. Hard to move around the organization the higher you get. Understandable though.
