Pros

Great benefits, smart talented employees, great mission

Cons

"Continuous Improvement" program is slowly destroying everything that was once great about Denver Water - organizations obviously need continuous improvement, but the way this program operates is ridiculous and is causing great people to leave; no room for advancement; often employees who identify problems are branded as negative and get a target placed on their backs

Pros

Good benefits, great work/life balance

Cons

Poor morale, dated technology stack. I recall management saying that meetings couldn't have free coffee or doughnuts because they were worried about the local news reporting of employees getting too many perks. Now all I hear about is the news reporting on the five and six figure bonuses they are receiving.
