Pros

Great Location, Free Parking. It is good for entry-level and then move on after a couple of years. Huge goodwill built up over decades as a storied institution. Very engaged member owners.

Cons

They think much of themselves but it is not warranted. It is a top-down patriarchal management system. Decisions are based on personal bias and expertise instead of evidence. These are amateurs who think they are pros. It's still a boys club at the top and the elected board and president are meaningless.
