Pros

DB is by far the most diverse and inclusive company I've worked for--at least in backoffice and operations. Work/family balance is reasonable but some managers are less reasonable. There's a strong sense of community organizing and charity work.

Cons

Unless you are a Director or higher, you are a tiny cog in a giant engine. Opportunities to stand out are rare. The fight for promotions is about networking rather than working, which is good because IT security and process controls are more important than being able to do your job.

Pros

Top institutional quality name brand, decent pay, great networking opportunities.

Cons

I realized the banking work style and day to day operations for an analyst isn't what I want to do. Lacking in benefits compared to tech.
