Every Company has it's pros & cons - weigh what is important to you
Pros
- Great Work Life Balance & Benefits - Depending on the group - Hours can be reasonable - Internal DB University database is a useful learning resource if utilized - Great Employee Networks - Depending on the group, most people are knowledgeable and are willing to share that knowledge
Cons
- Organizational structure constantly changes - Promotional Process could use some improvements (eliminate favortism and maybe incorporate a peer, colleague, manager influence to promotion decisions - weighted average of nays wins) - Pay is not comparable to the industry - Sr Managers do not have much influence on change or decisions regarding mid-level / lower level staffing roles - Near / Off Shoring hubs to NY / London Hubs relationships are strained due to uncertainty of roles and responsibilities, which are not clearly defined or constantly changed by management
