      Every Company has it's pros & cons - weigh what is important to you

      Pros

      - Great Work Life Balance & Benefits - Depending on the group - Hours can be reasonable - Internal DB University database is a useful learning resource if utilized - Great Employee Networks - Depending on the group, most people are knowledgeable and are willing to share that knowledge

      Cons

      - Organizational structure constantly changes - Promotional Process could use some improvements (eliminate favortism and maybe incorporate a peer, colleague, manager influence to promotion decisions - weighted average of nays wins) - Pay is not comparable to the industry - Sr Managers do not have much influence on change or decisions regarding mid-level / lower level staffing roles - Near / Off Shoring hubs to NY / London Hubs relationships are strained due to uncertainty of roles and responsibilities, which are not clearly defined or constantly changed by management

      I don't know where to start -It's been two years now that the company has rationalized a way of not paying me a bonus, unrelated to performance. -I've been shuffled between roles without consultation or any management engagement whatsoever. "I know it's not what we've hired you to do but...just do it or leave."

      Well established global investment bank - largest bank in Germany Highly talented people Very lean organization Employees are paid well and have good benefits

      Cons

      Sr Management do not know what the root of the issues - failing regulatory requirements several times in the past 5 years. Making changes left and right like throwing darts in the dark. Making quarterly layoffs in the US, and not in Germany. Very rigid organizational structure
