Pros

Promise of doing healthcare differently, they portray that want to treat members like family.

Cons

No work life balance, little training or support from leadership team, but expectation of high performance in little time. Was let go for what was called a performance issue, but believe it was a result of misalignment with organizational strategy and interpretation of regulations and requirements. Was not given a severance, was told you are paid through today and your health benefits end today (but you are more than welcome to continue them through cobra). This was appalling, and not how you would treat your family.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that you are left feeling this way. Devoted has a rigorous performance management process that involves written and verbal communication of performance issues in a transparent and collaborative manner. Any exceptions are rare. Devoted does have a generous severance package which is distributed fairly and equitably. Insurance coverage does end on the last day of employment but employees have the ability to elect cobra for continued coverage as needed.

Sexism Still Exists

Pros

Great benefits, work/life balance, stock in the company

Cons

Women will never get ahead. And Chief HR person covers for bad behavior because she is friends with CEO. Sexism is alive and well in this company. If you value yourself as a woman, don't come here. If you want to be oppressed by men, deal with ignorant and offensive comments from leadership, then you'll fit right in here.
