Pros

After 13 years of working for a major health insurance carrier, it was a eye opening moment to connect with Devoted Health. From the moment of initial conversations with the recruiter, to visiting the office and staff , to ultimately accepting the offer to become part of the Devoted family it has been a great experience. You truly need to visit the office to experience the energy! Devoted's mission to treat everyone like we would treat our own family is a sorely needed outlook for healthcare. While a start up is not for everyone, if you are willing and able to be flexible and shift at a moment's notice, you will be a great fit! Coming from a large carrier, it is often that the senior management, CEO etc are not approachable. That is far from the case here at Devoted. Our leadership team, founders and CEO are always just a message away, and they will answer you! I am excited to see how we are going to change healthcare! PROS: * Collaboration between all departments * Empowerment to think outside the box for the good of our members * Work / Life balance * Technology * Company paid health, vision and dental * Senior management is always approachable

Cons

* A start up is not for everyone

Pros

Cool tech stack and tools used to build CI/CD pipeline. Cool Watch Factory location. Most employees were a real pleasure to work with.

Cons

I was given 2 weeks to show what skills I brought to the party and then thrown out with no real reason given. 2 weeks into my employment, our only Support Engineer (I was in an Infrastructure group that included IT) went on paternity leave for a month. During that month, we were hiring dozens of people, all who would need tech onboarding as well as IT services, so I volunteered to provide such support as well as that for a 3 day onboarding event for all employees who had started in the last quarter. That effort was very successful, but when the Support Engineer returned, I was rewarded for my teamwork with termination.

Pros

It’s been great working at Devoted. I’ve never seen a company care so much for their members like they are family. Behind the scenes everything moves quickly to make sure our members get the care they deserve. I’ve also never worked with a company where you get to speak to leadership on a daily basis to resolve issues. Most companies have channels you have to go through. As employees we are all one big extended family. We have amazing coworkers with great spirit, talent, and heart. We are very diverse in many ways. We learn something new from each other daily. There is plenty of room to grow and learn and with the coming years more room to move into leadership positions. Don’t get me wrong it is not a walk in the park, everyone here works extremely hard but we do it graciously and it’s rewarding. I really do believe Devoted will be voted a Top Company to work for and I can't wait to see our evolution.

Cons

Unmatched 401k, No tuition reimbursement
