Nice Start, Good Coworkers, Meh Everything Else

Pros

It's good place to wet your feet if you're starting out. Decent pay and you start racking up PTO immediately. Good benefits. Great people, you will not want for better coworkers.

Cons

Managers that breathe down your back. Unrealistic expectations where you expected to crunch and work unpaid overtime more frequently than you would like. As another comment said, they scale then go through rounds of lay offs. They fired a very experienced employee for refusing to sign off on a process change that would diminish quality (so essentially doing his job). Work gets dull after a bit.

Smaller company with a few quirks

Pros

As a smaller company generally the work is fast paced and there is plenty of it so always things to keep busy and interesting, Also many roles will need to be filled by a single person so great for gaining experience with many different things. Overall a lot of experience can be gained in the environment.

Cons

The work life balance is not good, many tasks are assigned, and in general it is expected that it all gets done even though there is not enough time. In general extra hours need to be put in to get things done and compensation is not usually given. Management is unclear and unfocused. The decisions are not congruent across different mangers of the company and there is some infighting going which makes the direction fuzzy. Company is somewhat unorganized because the general workload everyone is under.

Pros

Subject matter on projects can be interesting. Certain perks like company cruise if that matters to you. Most employees were friendly, helpful, and enjoyable to work with. Steady stream of work coming in means company is growing and jobs are stable.

Cons

Pay and performance reviews are non-existent. Initial salary offers have a reputation for being poor. Promotions or oppurtunity for growth are slow if not rare. Company bleeds good talent at times due to aforementioned issues. Projects tend to be more about creating content within disti tools and workflow then offering any sort technical difficulty or freedom for innovation from an engineering perspective.
