Pros
- Strong leadership, kind and compassionate. Not afraid to respectfully push you to do your best work - Great product, there is a huge (and growing) market for the SmartSense solution - Ownership and say in your work, you will be enabled to make a difference in your department - Competitive pay and benefits With any acquisition, employees will be upset with inevitable changes in leadership, norms, and vision. I have worked here through the acquisition, and while there were some rough patches in figuring out their footing, the SmartSense leadership team has brought equilibrium to the product development lifecycle, provided a clear path to a unified platform (previously SmartSense was selling 4 separate product lines), and has enabled a culture of passion and care for the SmartSense team. There is plenty of opportunity to grow with this company, and they have done a great job with making sure employees are heard.
Cons
- Transitioning out of the start-up phase, so while great progress has been made there is still friction with changing ideals - Consolidating multiple platforms (from acquisition) into a single, unified dashboard - Remote coworkers. I personally worked well with remote coworkers but some may not find this as desirable (communication is still strong, despite the distance from MA to MN)

Pros
Teammates are very nice to me, help is easy to get. Great environment in the team, people look after and cover each other's back. Good work-life balance, unlimited sick day and WFH. Good place to start career and fit into office life.
Cons
Might not be much opportunity to get promoted. The pace is sometimes slow. The payment is not competitive. Immigration policy is limited.
