Pros

This is one of the most energizing times at DigiCert as we pivot from just being a certificate vendor to being a global leader of digital trust. The pace of innovation in different product categories and trust lanes is accelerating, we are building a team of amazing leaders, the way we engage with the customers - through sales, and through marketing is transforming. Excited to be part of team DigiCert!

Cons

Some people in organization are still anchored to wards the way things have always been done

Pros

There's a lot of opportunity to make this company GREAT. There are some genuine people who have joined recently that truly do care to lean in and do what's right for the people and the business. The flexible work policy is great. I've had DigiCert go above and beyond for me during my time here when it counted. There's SO much work to be done here and once we can rid the culture of 'turf' wars and be more open to change, I think anyone who truly enjoys to find things that are broken and work together to fix them would enjoy working here.

Cons

The legacy culture was built around a lot of entitlement. The acquisitions and mergers that were done throughout the history of the org were not done the best. Because of this there are so many system and process issues that were treated differently depending on the company you came from. And as you can imagine that causes a lot of disruption when you attempt to finally bring it all together. It's honestly been painful. But there has been great progress made in some areas and it's what makes it all worth it. The entitled culture that DigiCert was and still kind of is (as you can see from the petty and tactless reviews calling out leaders by name) is what will keep the morale down and make the business suffer. There's a lot of chaos at times and still a lot of working reactively but I've learned it comes with the territory of working at a company undergoing massive transformation.

Pros

Collaborative team with lots of PKI domain experience. New CEO and management team driving growth and transformation. Strong financials in a bad economy. Many people have stayed with the company for over 5 years because the company takes good care of employees. Feel connected with the digital trust mission.

Cons

rivate company, so no real stock options or RSUs, yet. But then, my previous public company stock tanked! I'll take cash, thank you. Legacy tech debt from prior acquisitions need to be retired quickly.
