Dear former DigiCert employee, Thank you for your Glassdoor review. It’s unfortunate that you did not enjoy your time at DigiCert and that, other than the global presence of the company, you have little regard for your time there. We do work very hard to provide a strong culture and offer employees competitive benefits and work-life balance. We do hope you had some positive experiences during your tenure. We certainly hope that you have some positive experiences to recall from your time at DigiCert, and that, at some point, you may consider the company for another role. Also, if you would like to elaborate on anything you have shared, please reach out a member of the DigiCert People Team and we will be happy to meet with you. Best, DigiCert People Team

Pros

I have been working in and writing about IT security for a very long time and the PKI has been a focus of mine. From that standpoint there's no better place to be than a very large CA that is also provider of PKI and related security services. This is a really important tech that everyone uses a lot every day. Very few know about it, because it generally just works correctly, and that's because companies like DigiCert are really serious about this business.

Cons

I work remotely (welcome to 2024). I like the people I work with, but I work with only a few and it's all Slack and email. I feel like I'm part of the team, but there are limits when you're never going to meet people face to face. I hope to some day. Also, all they could swing for me now is an hourly part-time position, but they're keeping me busy and I'm hoping something full-time opens up. This will affect my ratings below.

Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for the Glassdoor review. We appreciate that you note a five-star experience with a business outlook, leadership and culture you endorse. It’s also great to see that you value what we do and how you contribute to IT security. We understand the cons – fully remote work is not always ideal for some people. We do have those who live near offices come in twice a week. But we also offer an employee resource group for remote employees to help build community and culture. If there is anything else you’d like to share, don’t hesitate to reach out to the DigiCert People Team. Regards, DigiCert People Team
