Pros

Great tech-culture vibe: fun, laid-back culture, but fast-paced work environment that keeps things interesting. Innovation is encouraged and supported. New Women in Tech initiative, with full exec support, is exciting.

Cons

Going from local company to global overnight opened up a world of opportunities, but also some growing pains that leadership has been managing and navigating over the past year and a half. But there's awareness of the issues, with good progress and good ongoing conversations about how to continue to improve.

Autonomy Is Excellent, Performance Review Process Needs Work

Pros

Management has given me freedom to work on projects that interest me that are outside the scope of my role. They have quickly given me the opportunity to advance and take on more responsibility. Benefits are very good overall, with lots of nice perks (catered lunches twice weekly, free UTA pass, flexibility to work from home occasionally, covered parking, stocked kitchen, time with personal financial advisers). The culture is relaxed, and I am almost never expected to work late or on weekends. The company seems to be doing well and meeting its business goals. Lehi location is nice, and I like working with people from global offices (London, South Africa, Japan, Australia, California).

Cons

The performance review process is still being figured out, so it's currently flawed. The reviews are infrequent (once yearly) and there are not clear expectations on how to be successful (and get a raise). The review process starts with a self-review, which then sets the cap on your potential salary. My opinion is that this incentivizes employees to inflate their performance rather than give an honest review. The relaxed culture can sometimes be de-motivating because it sometimes feels like there might be a lack of ambition. Feels like some of the leadership is stuck in traditional top-down leadership style, without seriously taking into account the thoughts of employees further down the latter. This mostly applies to the CEO. Other executives I've had experience with have mostly been humble and open. The executive team isn't very diverse. You might get fat with all the delicious food laying around.

Down to Earth Executive Team

Pros

I love the company culture. People are important and the executive team makes you feel important. I've peed next to the CEO several times so you know he doesn't have a secret bathroom. He uses the same one as all of us.

Cons

They just switched lunch catered from 3 days to 2 days which is a bummer. The kitchen also runs out of food a lot.
