      Pros

      They hired us all after the purchase of the building we worked in. There was a large tool list that was purchased shortly after the hire date. The team that we have on site is very dedicated to performing to the best of our abilities, up to and including the site manager.

      Cons

      Lack of training and involvement from upper management. They were here for maybe the first week or two and have pretty much disappeared since then. With the lack of the regional management, many projects have been delayed. We were all hoping that policies and procedures would change drastically to align with Digital Realty standards and this has not happened. After 90 days, we are still doing things the same way as we did with the previous company (which is not a good thing). As an hourly employee, I am expected to have my phone on me at all times and answer calls throughout the nights and weekends without compensation, it seems that there should be a policy in place for this. I do not work for free.

      Pros

      I work with a team that is highly qualified, and extremely proficient. I also recognize that my immediate management is thoughtful, flexible, driven, and quite able to think outside the box. I am able to determine my own work priorities, when not instructed directly, and report in open communication to my supervisor. I am not micromanaged in any way, I am treated with respect and dignity, and the all around environment in very satisfying.
