People are outwardly nice, but almost all are not helpful, from senior management on down. As a new employee, I was on the senior leadership team of the office. They recruited me hard, and although I liked my prior company/position a lot, this seemed like a great chance for career growth. I totally get self sufficiency and such, but senior management was no help whatsoever in onboarding me. Peers said it wasn't their responsibility. I wasn't told about meetings that I should have been in. It was a trainwreck.
