Overwork/underpaid, When you lose someone, instead of hiring a replacement, work is given to a curent employee. Actual direction from Publicis is when two people leave/get fired, only one is hired to replace. Too many chiefs, not enough indians. People in higher positions (not even that senior) feel they should pass the buck on work that in all actually is theirs.

Company is a big name in the ad world. Opportunities to transfer to other agencies.

Cons

No morale or company culture left. As soon as the company was bought by Publicis, everything changed. It's 100% corporate now with no regard for the employees. Lower level employees are under appreciated and overworked for minimal pay. Meanwhile the overpaid VPs, many of whom are relics from the pre-web days, don't seem to know what they're doing, if anything. If you're a VP or higher, it's almost impossible to get fired regardless of ineptitude.

Pros

Digitas pays decently compared with other agencies. You get to work with smart people who are passionate about what they do. For the most part, Digitas clients are some great brands to have on your resume. There is also a strong commitment to learning and development. I have also had a few amazing managers at certain points at digitas - unfortunately they did not last! For the most part, people like to have fun and the company outings are usually a good time.

Cons

Most employees work long hours. I've seen some capricious and unequal promotions across departments in the three years I've worked there, despite the fact that there is an involved review process. I think communication from senior management could also be improved.
