      Decent Workplace with a Great Office, but Career Growth is Limited

      Cons

      • If you’re unlucky, you may end up working on legacy technologies, which can be a career setback. • Salary progression is slow—raises are capped at 3-5% annually, and even promotions only bring a small salary increase • The company pays 20-30% less than the industry average, so if you join with a low offer, it’s hard to catch up. • Getting promoted is difficult, as performance alone isn’t enough—you need to be liked by management. • Software developers don’t get company-wide recognition, making it feel like their contributions go unnoticed.

      Very sneaky

      Pros

      The ability to work from home. Some of the co-workers are cool.

      Cons

      Many of the managers are unqualified to do their job. They are promoted based on time at the company, not ability. There's no point in reporting bad managers because they will figure out how to turn it back on you. Walk right past them to a better company
