Pros

The stores were beautiful, and merchandise very well, overall the associates were great, just most of them were afraid of the store manager, since she was a witch.

Cons

The lack of accountability, since the company has no human resources that you can go and voice your concerns with with upper management, and the district manager was afraid for her job and would do nothing if you had a complaint.

Pros

There isn't much I can say about how this is a good retailer to work for. The company is still one of the few that is family owned. The good thing that I see that the company does is the fact that they don't use coupons. All of their product is either on sale or its regular price..

Cons

The company doesn't seem to care very much about the associates or the mangers in the store. There is a lot of poor communication from the corporate office to the store. It seems like the company is always being reactive instead of proactive with planning for a large sale like Black Friday or their New Year's Day sale. This company has a long ways to go if it thinks that it will be a great retailer to work for.
