Pros

The discount was OK, only like 20 or 30%

Cons

Always worked over 40 hours a week, and had to stay late on Friday evenings. Management is never clear on their expectations or what they want. Other departments are always trying to undermine you. Poor leadership. Lack of camaraderie. Be prepared to be judged. Don't take a sick day unless you want to be blacklisted. Only 2 weeks off per year. Poor health benefits. Other insane office politics rules.

Pros

Everyone at Dillard’s is very friendly, and the job isn’t very physically demanding. The pay is really good for the amount of work you do.

Cons

The store manager is great, but some of the department heads are absolutely awful. People can be a little catty and competitive (especially when it comes to sales). Workplace gossip runs rampant. Some departments have crazy turn over rates.
