Pros

I only show up for my coworkers , the best people I ever met

Cons

Everything, when I got hired I signed a contract for $16 hour plus tips this offer sounded great due to all the work we do it’s the biggest restaurant In New York and servers are constantly running around from assisting runners , busing our own tables since they would only have two busers ( mind you we are the biggest restaurant in New York ) does that make sense ? Oh and on top of it we are walking guest as well . Then randomly they decided we was getting paid too much and decided to deduct our pay to $10.00 hour …

Pros

One pro is the money you make is decent however with the tip compliance rate going up recently, we are now paying a large amount of money to work basically. Another pro is that you will find other coworkers that will agree that management is sad and disappointing.

Cons

There are several cons working at this company, in particular the las vegas location. Your hard work will be consistenly be overlooked and you as an employee will be undervalued by management. Management is somehow lacking structure and support for their employees despite the fact they have 5 managers. Most managers stand around showing no serious amount of effort. You will be followed around to the bathroom and around the workplace no matter the amount of hard work you put in. There is a very racist workplace culture they intend to keep up. Many employees are scared to speak up because of the horrible management and their strict, racist, inappropriate, and unprofessional procedures they have come up with that have seemingly not been approved or run by any one of upper management. This location lacks strong management and they need to be looked into. Do yourself a favor and work somewhere you will be valued and not treated like a child. If you do not look a certain way you are deemed as a target and they will follow you around. Do not trouble and stress yourself with a racist unprofessional workplace. There are several upscale restaurants that you will make more money at and it will be worth while!

Pros

Free KN95 Masks for employees due to pandemic.

Cons

Worst company I've ever worked for. Upon starting, other employees, both managerial and hourly told me how thrilled they were to have more managerial support. Upper management is awful - fake, phony, and uses a recruiting service that is the same. Days average 15 hrs without breaks, and they work you till you literally have no outside life and your health is deteriorating. Days "off" you get bombarded with phone calls, messages, and still have to attend meetings. No work life balance, and anyone whom brings this up is fired or told to just deal with it. You know it's not a good sign when team members come to you with their horror stories of other managers and ask your opinion if they should leave the company. Not truthful in interview process and did not follow up on anything promised, including job duties, description, pay, benefits, hours, uniform, internal promotion, promotion structure. Managers forced to taste test for food quality, despite having food allergies. Severely short staffed and overworked. Does not care about employees. Constantly trying to terminate employees and has poor on the job training. Does not follow their own company values. Senior managers harass and belittle all those below them including other managers. Interview process was extensive, so genuinely shocked the company was so poor at following through with promises. Doesn't offer a free meal to any hourly team member, many of whom work 9 or 10 hour shifts. Unsanitary facilities and unsafe food handling practices. Like the reviews from guests, this place is overpriced and overrated.
