Pros

Really smart coworkers, great benefits and pay, & a fast-paced environment. Standards for excellence are higher here than other agencies I've experienced which I personally found refreshing. Work-life balance is also a huge pro, particularly with 100% remote work. I've only had to work over 40 hours in a week once here in a few years. You don't need to work overtime to succeed at Directive, just have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and grow.

Cons

Typical agency churn, internal initiatives & goals seem to change regularly. It's an agency, so people are coming and going all the time which can get old. Every quarter usually has a new initiative launched that quickly gets forgotten about until a year later when it gets resurfaced in a new way.

Pros

-Some very good employees (who are being worked into the ground).

Cons

Directive is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. I applied and went through the interview process knowing the Glassdoor reviews were horrible. Let me tell you: the reviews were correct, Directive Consulting is an awful place to work. If you want to hate your existence, then apply at Directive. Otherwise, avoid Directive at all costs. Here are just some of the many cons: -Disastrous leadership leading to routine layoffs. -Constant pivoting. -Micromanagement by the CEO. -Toxic culture. Employees are expected to work extremely long hours, if you have a family or want a life outside of work, this is not the place for you. -Burnout and weekly panic attacks among staff are the norm. -Insane expectations leading to the lowest morale I have ever seen at a company. -Deeply political with constant workplace drama. -Impulsive leadership decision-making without having all the facts, leading to multiple embarrassing situations for everyone involved. -The company only serves tech clients, and tech is in a financial meltdown. -New employees are set up for failure, starting with the onboarding.
