Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you felt like there wasn’t enough time for our team to support you as an Intern. We have heard similar feedback from some of our other employees as well, and have instituted a few new operational practices designed to create more time for our Strategists and Associate Directors. We wish you the best in your career and hope we were able to contribute to your professional development.

Thank you for your feedback about your experience so far. Agency work is hard, and we hold ourselves to very high standards here at Directive. If there is anything I or any other member of the People Operations team can do to help, please know we're only a Slack or Zoom call away. - Mel Dale, Head of People Operations

Pros

• Competitive pay • Some smart people at the lower level, though many have left or on their way out

Cons

• Major decisions made by the CEO who has never worked at an agency and touts his ideas as if they’re hot and new (they’re not) • You will be yelled at by senior leaders, with no apology when they realize they’re wrong • They majorly max out capacities and tell you to outsource your work with no resources in place • Bring concerns to senior leaders and you will be gaslit and blamed, with no efforts to fix the issue (then it’s your fault when it comes to a head later) • Constant change in direction/processes with zero concern for how it impacts the overstretched team • They don’t care one bit about their people or clients, only the bottom line.

Hello, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feelings. Our employees can get very passionate about their work and how we serve our people and customers, but it is never ok for anyone to feel like they're being yelled at. I hope you know that I genuinely care about you and your experience. I'm always available, or anyone else from the People Operations team, if you'd like to talk more. - Mel Dale, Head of People Operations
