Pros

- Have felt extremely supported at the company since day 1 - Team members are smart, motivated and very welcoming - Company is growing into new markets, and it has been extremely exciting to be along for the ride - Excited to see where Directive goes in the next couple of years - While the team works hard, have never felt required to work past typical working hours & am always able to take time off for vacations, doctor appointments etc. - When your working day is over, it’s not expected you answer slack messages etc - They’ve recently created an employee experience department to focus on developing employees skill sets, have structured reviews & being able to voice questions etc

Cons

- Fast paced company which isn’t for everyone - You have to know how to manage your calendar & make time for yourself - Since Directive is growing there are some areas they are still trying to figure out (as any growing company does). When there is an area of opportunity, it is heard and they make shifts to support

Pros

This might be a different type of review, as I was let go, but nonetheless, this company is super well put together. A lot of passion from the CEO and a clear direction on where they are heading in the future. Supportive team members and there is always someone to help you if you need it. They have managed to build a strong culture within a remote environment and I have genuinely made some really good friends in the company. That has to say something for culture!

Cons

I would say Directive Daily's are a bit of a miss. Many times they don't touch on something that you would benefit from. Back in the day, the CEO ran the Directive Daily meetings and provided a ton of insight when it comes to business and marketing as a whole. I would suggest they bring that back into the fold.

Pros

I started with Directive as a part time intern and in 4 months I had been promoted to a full time strategist. I came in with little to no job experience in digital marketing but Directive's training programs along with the endless resources and support from everyone on the team quickly launched me into my first official career. They really set you up for success from the first day. - Great benefits -Open communication -Dedicated and caring community -Infinite opportunities to continue learning -Support, support, support -The work/life balance is recognized at Directive (vacations, families, physical & mental health, graduate school, personal appointments, religion, holidays, etc.)

Cons

Working in a remote environment as an extrovert can be hard. Wish there were more opportunities to meet other members of the Directive team in person.
