Pros

Making the decision to work at Directive was the best decision I've ever made in my career. I continue to learn and expand my expertise while experiencing a ton of growth. If you work hard, put in A+ effort, exceed expectations, and stay motivated to achieve success (for both yourself and for the company/clients) you will be rewarded. Here are some other great pros: - Amazing salary and benefits - Great team and career growth opportunities - Remote-first, people-first culture - Ton of work flexibility Did I mention how much they care for their employees?! Whether you have an upcoming birthday or have accomplished a major life milestone (married, new house, etc), they will go out of their way to acknowledge you with such thoughtful gifts. I work with the most talented, smart, hardworking people!

Cons

Seriously have none - this is the best place to work!

Pros

Honestly, this job is freaking awesome! The people above, and beside you are unbelievably encouraging. Its a culture that breaths growth, and excellence. Directive Dailies are one of the best things about working here. This is a time during the day when whoever's available jumps on a call and we problem solve. Its literally a fantastic learning experience, and upper management is always looking for ways to improve, and make it even MORE useful. Inside the creative team, we have our own directive dailies where we're challenging ourselves to make a creative ad based on a simple prompt. Its been a fantastic exercise. Especially remotely. Remote working is tough, you don't get those intimate/fun moments you would inside an office. But these challenges have helped liven up our creative team chat. Ive gotten more insight into everyones personality, and it sounds stupid and obvious but it makes such a difference on calls. Helps everyone learn each other, and we grow as a department because of it. On the actual work side I couldn't be happier. I LOVE my AD, and CD and of course the homies at my level. We are constantly meeting and improving the structure. We are always brainstorming and playing to each others strengths so we can have the best outcomes. I literally love every aspect of this job.

Cons

Remote is tough, but Directive does an amazing job at combating those challenges. Lots of trivia, chat threads, team meetings. Video meeting hangouts. Love all those things. I cant really think of any cons. Sometimes theres extra hours, but hey, thats just to be expected. If you wanna do great work that you're proud of; it might take a few extra hours here and there. I would rather put in the time to be able to look back on projects and be proud of what I did. Not only for myself, but for the client. Love all the clients we have. Love forming relationships with them.

Pros

- Good people - Cultivates a learning environment on the business side - Limitless opportunities to learn (even as a recruiter) from some of the best who have their fingers on the pulse of the SaaS market

Cons

- long hours - unrealistic expectation imposed by middle management - every coaching opportunity seems kind of backhanded - your point of view falls to the wayside - I personally wouldn't describe them as a people first organization considering they let me go while I was hospitalized but to each their own
