Pros

-great benefits -competitive pay -growth opportunities -smart, hard-working team -remote

Cons

-Taking some sort of odd pride in the lack of work/life balance and chalking it up to “performance-driven culture” or “that’s just agency life”. A comment was made by the CEO that no one should work over 50 hours; I’ll call out that this does not include leaders. -Relatively conservative leaders so if you are looking for a place of ethnic diversity and women in leadership, probably not for you. A lot of people refer to it as “the boys club”- they’re not wrong. -Beware of the old saying “if they will talk poorly about others to you, they will talk poorly of you to others” and that starts at the top.

Thank you so much for your feedback, it's Garrett. It's always tough to get reviews like this and I do not believe they accurately depict our organization; however, I hear you and nobody is working harder to make this the best company in the world for it's team. I don't know who you are, but if we worked together for 4+ years, thank you for your hard work and belief. I appreciate you and we will keep pushing :)

Pros

- Leadership is transparent about business goals and progress - Felt like you were a part of a team that's on the cutting edge and always pushing innovation - Work alongside some really talented people who are truly experts in their field - Ability to work autonomously and have ownership of your work

Cons

- Incredibly draining and toxic environment. Executives are patronizing and speak down to you under the guise of "genuinely caring about your growth" especially if you are female (just look at how they respond to negative reviews, it's very telling) - Lots of intimidation and scare tactics - All of the "do good" initiatives exist merely as a brand play. The executives do not actually care about paying you competitively or contributing to charity or whatever new thing they're plugging - they just want to gloat about them on social media to attract new hires and make this place seem like something it isn't. The fantastic coworkers and quality of work you get to do here are simply not worth the mental anguish. The bad reviews are 100% accurate, and I have a strong feeling some of the good reviews are from current employees who were asked to post something positive. It seems like the only people who enjoy working here are original OC hires that have been around since the beginning - they drink the koolaid cause they get rewarded for it. Until the people at the top are able to look objectively at their behavior and make a change I don't see how this place will retain the talented people who work here.
